What is a clay mate?

Clay mates are tiny delicate porcelain sculptures made with love. Each is formed and painted by hand so there might be variations from the photos. As with all ceramics, please take care with handling as they could be damaged with force.

How long does it take you to make them?

Mini mates take me about half an hour to sculpt, another half hour to paint on the details and about 15 minutes to glaze and prepare for the kiln. All of this happens in the span of 2-4 weeks as the pieces have to go into the kiln on a minimum of two trips to reach their final state.
